Mr, Jacob Gyamfi-Aidoo
Senior Advisor, Stakeholder Engagements & Capacity Building
Jacob is a seasoned development management practitioner with interest in institutional development that fosters an endearing commitment to transformative solutions. He advises on stakeholder engagement processes as well as capacity building interventions for enterprises to be export-ready under the AfCFTA.
He has worked for more than 30 years serving in several operational as well as leadership roles with government in Ghana, and several development organizations, including the United Nations and The World Bank. He has provided advisory services to several African governments as well as African Union institutions in areas such as strengthening organizational systems, processes and procedures; environmental and sustainable development management; resource information management; and human capital development.
He brings to the AfCFTA NCO team a wealth of experience in development cooperation; partnership building and management; multi-stakeholder coordination, facilitation, and consensus-building at various levels – from international to regional, national, and local; and experience in project management and implementation support at national and continental levels. He has extensive experience in capacity development principles and practices and, as an ardent pan-Africanist, he brings considerable wealth of knowledge, experience, and perspectives on African development issues.
